Dalton State College Website Wins Case District III Award For Overall Web Design & Organization

CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, have announced their District III Electronic and Digital Media Awards for 2014-2015 and out of 21 entrants Dalton State Colleges’ website wins recognition for Overall Web Design & Organization.

Dalton State College staff works hard to stay abreast of current trends in marketing for colleges and universities and so does Third Wave Digital.  Great minds must think alike as both Dalton State and TWD  were in attendance at the CASE District III 2015 conference in Orlando.  A year later, Dalton State and Third Wave Digital are both recognized for excellence by the same institution by putting into practice information learned.

Located in northern Georgia, Dalton State’s multifaceted institution web presence was due for a redraw.  Dalton State College commissioned Third Wave Digital to develop a website that accurately captured the unique experience of life at Dalton State.  The newly redesigned http://www.daltonstate.edu boasts a responsive design, interactive campus map, campus calendar, student videos, and an admissions resource center. All these features are backed by Third Wave’s higher education Content Management System TWD.CMS and the site is securely hosted by TWD Host.

The CASE District III Award Programs recognizes the very best in advancement across the Southeast.  Judges look for excellence in design, content and implementation.  Other important criteria were site usability, structure, navigation and functionality, aesthetics, creativity and technical expertise.
