Requirements
Florida Power & Light needed a way to showcase their Nuclear Power Plant visitor's center that would allow access to their neat, cool and immersive exhibits even when the facility was closed to the public for security reasons. The solution needed to be as dynamic, entertaining and informative as the actual visitor's center and had to provide an image in keeping with FPL's dedication to advanced techology, quality and creativity.
Third Wave Solution
Third Wave Digital responded with the design, development and architecture to create the Energy Encounter Electronic Experince or E4 Online for short! The site is a tour de force of today's most advanced web tools and takes full advantage of the readily available high bandwidth internet connection with streaming media, shockwave, Flash, interactive menuing, full motion graphics and a backend to make it all work flawlessly! The site showcases the many exhibits Third Wave's team has created for FPL over the last five years and added a few new experiences to boot!
