Third Wave Redesigned Tubman Museum Website
Third Wave Digital, a web design and web development firm, announced the launch of a completely redesigned web presence for the African American Tubman Museum. The new museum website can be found at www.tubmanmuseum.com.
The recently launched website features a new overall design theme with accompanying custom graphics and a greatly improved navigation system making the vast amount of data available on the website more accessible and user-friendly. For the new Tubman Museum website, Third Wave Advertising provided a complete e-commerce solution allowing users to make donations and sign up for memberships all online. The Tubman Museum also has the ability to expand the shopping cart to online purchases from their gift shop. The newly launched website is part of the Capital Campaign initiative to assist in donations to raise money for a new facility on Cherry Street in Macon, Georgia.
In addition to the e-commerce solution, the Third Wave Advertising also implemented a complete content management system through a partnership with DynApp Corporation. The CMS allows the Tubman Museum to make daily changes, updates and revisions to the site in a "plain English" format.
